All personal data is fundamentally treated in the strictest of confidence. Your personal data is used primarily to enable the optimum handling of orders, to deliver the merchandise, and to provide services and handle payments. For the purposes of handling payments, the data required will be stored both on our server and on that of the Netrada Payment GmbH in Germany.

We or companies associated with us, will only use the address data (e.g. email address) given to us within the framework of order processing, for the purposes of advertising or market research when you have expressly given your permission for this.

Your data is protected. When you fill in forms or access your data, a secure connection is used ((http via SSL, also known as HTTPS). The data you enter is automatically encrypted before it is sent. All of the data and information that we receive is protected and only available to authorised personnel.

We collect the following information:

• Information you give us: Your personal data will be kept confidential and is only used to complete the transaction. However, where applicable, your data will be sent to those companies involved in the fulfillment of the transaction.
• Information from other sources: We reserve the right to request information from third-parties (e.g. other distance selling traders, credit card information services) with regard to your payment behaviour in order to be able to offer you certain payment options (e.g. paying by invoice) or other types of financial service.

Among other things we, along with many other websites, make use of so-called "Cookies" and obtain certain types of information as soon as your web browser opens our shop page.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are alphanumerical identification elements that we transfer to the hard drive of your computer via your web browser. They enable our systems to recognise your browser and to offer you services, such as saving your shopping basket between visits to our website.

The Help function available in the menu bar of the majority of web browsers will explain how you can to prevent your browser accepting new cookies, how you tell your browser when you have received a new cookie or how to deactivate all received cookies.

Our business changes constantly. As does this privacy policy and our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to send you information at intervals about the guidelines that we apply. You should, however, still regularly visit our website and take note of the changes. Insofar as no other agreement has been made, the use of all information that we hold about you and your customer accounts is subject to this privacy policy. We assure you that any major changes to our privacy policy, that may lead to a weaker protection of the customer data that we already have, will only be carried out with your agreement.
